Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

Some links on this site (mostly on theShop the Looks pages) are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it helps keep the free styling content coming.

What an affiliate link actually is

An affiliate link is a regular product link with a tracking code attached. When you purchase through it, the retailer pays me a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had found the product on your own; the commission comes out of the retailer’s side, never yours.

The programs I participate in

• Amazon Associates. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases made through my Amazon links.
• Mavely. A creator-commerce platform (similar to LTK) that connects my links to a range of retailers. When you buy through a Mavely link, the retailer may pay me a commission through that platform.

What I will (and won’t) link

I only link pieces I would genuinely recommend to a client or a friend: things I own, have styled, or would confidently put in your closet. No brand tells me what to feature, and a commission never changes my advice. If something isn’t worth your money, it doesn’t get a link; that’s the whole deal.

Where you’ll see disclosures

On every page of this site that includes shoppable links, a plain-language disclosure appears before or immediately next to the links themselves, not buried in a footer you’d have to go hunting for. That placement follows the Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guidance, which requires that a financial relationship be disclosed clearly and close to the recommendation it applies to. The same goes for my social posts: if a post contains commissionable links, the post says so.
